Don't expect Carrie Underwood to obsess over every last little detail of her wedding to hockey player Mike Fisher. She has a much simpler goal in mind.

"We have some of the big decisions made," the singer told PEOPLE at Clive Davis's pre-Grammy gala over the weekend. "I don't care about details. I just want to show up and have a good time!"

That's probably a good plan, given that the country superstar is also preparing to launch an extensive U.S. tour in March. "Right now I'm at the beginning of the race," she says. "I can't see the end right now, but it's really exciting. There's a lot going on."

You can also count Underwood's fellow country singers as big fans of the couple.

"They are really cute together," says Dierks Bentley, who has toured with Underwood and is also a big hockey fan. "They seem pretty devoted to each other, and they come from a good background, so I think that's the key to a good marriage."

Another pal, Miranda Lambert, says Underwood will make a wonderful wife. "Carrie is very down to earth and stable," Lambert says. "She's a great girl. She really is. I'm happy for her."

Underwood, 26, and Ottawa Senators player Fisher, 29, got engaged in December. They walked their first red carpet together in the U.S. this past week, attending a Sens Foundation fundraiser. On Saturday, Fisher flew to L.A. after a game to attend Davis's famed party with Underwood, and, of course, he accompanied his wife-to-be to the 2010 Grammy Awards as well.

They have not yet announced a date for the wedding.
