Alli Sims isn't Britney Spears assistant anymore, but she's still trying to profit from that connection, a report from Life & Style claims. "Alli was in Birmingham, Ala., on Sept. 21 to put on a trunk show with vintage clothes, jewelry and accessories that she collected -- free -- while hanging out with Britney," a Spears family insider tells Life & Style.

(Image: Wenn)"Alli literally got thousands of dollars worth of swag during that year she was at Britney's side," the insider tells Life & Style, according to the report. "She hasn't been working, so she needs the money more than she needs the stuff."
***However, Alli's plan didn't rake in the big bucks, the report claims. “The first sale wasn’t all she'd hoped for. People trickled in and out for a few hours – something like 20 people the whole afternoon. They made some money, but nothing to write home about," the insider says.And it sounds like Alli still can't comprehend that she's really not related to the pop star. “It's so funny that she promoted the sale as Britney's cousin and she’s basically been cut off from any contact with the family,” says the insider.
